We’re using SignUp.com to organize our volunteer opportunities for teens. We’ll need help with everything from crafting to cleaning to leading the community. Just sign up for what you’d like! If the times listed don’t work for you or all the spots are filled, just call Miss Emily at (262) 342-1140 or email at elaidley@burlington.lib.wi.us.

Programs for Teens at the Burlington Public Library!
Foodie Friday
Fridays, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Join us on Fridays and learn to cook foods from home and around the world. Build skills you’ll use your whole life and learn recipes to impress your family. And eat food!
Escape the Underworld
Sunday, Mar. 19th, 4:00 p.m. (after hours)
Join us in an escape room themed around the myth of Hades and Persephone. This event is for groups of teens. Registration is required.
Trivia Night
Monday, Mar. 20, 6:30 p.m.
Join us for a fun night for “green” trivia. Come as a group or by yourself and see how much you know about green things. This program is for adults and teens. Registration is requested.
Bullet Journaling
Sunday, Mar. 26, Apr. 23, May 21, 2:00 p.m.
Come in and join us for a quiet hour of creating a bullet journal. We will be sharing tips and ideas for your journal pages. We will have supplies provided, or you can bring your own.
Gnome Teacups
Tuesday, Mar. 28, 6:00 p.m.
We will be making cute spring gnomes from teacups. This would make a great centerpiece for a spring display, or as a cute gift. This program is for teens and adults. All materials will be provided. Registration is required.
Graphic Novel Workshop
Wednesday, Apr. 12, 3:00 p.m.
Today we’re joined by special guests Do Art Productions to learn the art of creating our own graphic novels! We will dive into the secret and invisible language of comics, explaining the importance of facial expression, body movement, and story. We will show how just a simple line can make a face from happy to sad, or eyes from surprised to angry. In the process we will find out just how easy comics are, as well as how large their potential is for personal expression.
StringArt
Saturday, Apr. 22, 10 a.m.
We will be making a sunflower string art piece. Program is for teens and adults. All materials will be provided. Registration is required.
May the 4th Be With You Trivia Night
Thursday, May 4, 6:30 p.m.
Join us for a fun night for space genre trivia. We will be doing trivia covering our favorite space fandoms. Come as a group or by yourself and see how much you know about space genre things. This program is for adults and teens. Registration is requested.
Service Learning Hours available for teens.
Totally new to the Library, but not new to the Library System, be part of a group of teen leaders who are making a difference in their communities. Meet new teens and adults who know how to create positive change! Have a voice! Join alone or bring a friend. We will be meeting during LIFT (Library Is For Teens).
