The Burlington Public Library is accepting applications for two part-time library assistants. One library assistant will focus primarily on events and services for children and young adults, while the other will focus primarily on services for adults, including public programs and answering reference and reader’s advisory inquiries.
Burlington Public Library is located in southeastern Wisconsin, with a municipal population of 10,980 and a service population of 19,500. We are a member of the SHARE Library Consortium, serving Racine, Walworth, Kenosha, and Rock Counties.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or substantial college coursework preferred; computer and electronic resource experience required; customer service experience preferred; experience in libraries desired.
Compensation: Starting wage $14.97 per hour.
Hours: Both positions are 16-20 hour per week, including regular evenings and weekends.
