Experience Passes at the Burlington Public Library

Experience Pass Program

The Library’s Experience Pass Program gives patrons free access to a variety of local cultural and educational attractions. With an Experience Pass, library cardholders can check out passes to participating organizations and enjoy enriching experiences throughout our community.

Passes may be checked out for one week and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. This program is designed to make learning, art, and exploration accessible to everyone, while encouraging community connection and lifelong learning.

Check back often, as available experiences may change throughout the year.

Aurora Health Care Logo

Aurora Wellness Center

These passes are donated by the Aurora Wellness Center

The Aurora Wellness Center is a full-service exercise facility offering a running/walking track, fitness floor, lap pool, therapy pool, basketball, pickleball, racquetball courts and locker rooms. Mitchell Park Domes

Mitchell Park Domes

These passes are sponsored by the Friends of Burlington Library

The Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory is a living plant museum with a permanent collection of over 1,800 plant species that represent plant life from across the globe housed in the domes. This pass covers the entrance fee for all members of the household and offers a 10% discount in the gift shop.

Racine Art Museum

Racine Art Museum (RAM) is home to the largest contemporary craft collection in North America. The Charles A. Wustum Museum of Fine Arts proudly offers several award-winning outreach programs as well as one of the largest studio art programs of any museum in Wisconsin. This membership card grants free admission, anytime, to either the Racine Art Museum or the Charles A. Wustum Museum of Fine Arts to all members of your household.

Towne & Country Lanes

Towne & Country Lanes is a long-standing, family-oriented bowling center that has been independently owned and run by Merrill and Lorraine Draper since 1971, with roots going back to its original opening in 1958. They pride themselves on creating a welcoming entertainment hub for bowlers of all levels, from beginners to competitive league players, and have been deeply involved in the local community by hosting leagues, tournaments, fundraisers, and youth and school bowling teams. Enjoy a one-hour lane rental and up to six free shoe rentals with this pass.

Wisconsin Historical Society

This pass is sponsored by the Friends of Burlington Library

The Wisconsin Historical Society is a state agency and private organization, serving as a vital resource for researchers and the public for over 175 years. It’s one of the nation’s largest and oldest state historical societies, offering research access, educational materials, and historic property preservation across the state. This pass grants access to 12 different historical sites and museums to 2 adults and accompanying children under the age of 18.  The closest locations are: 

Wisconsin State Parks

These passes are sponsored by the Friends of Burlington Library.

Wisconsin State Parks are a collection of protected natural areas that showcase the state’s diverse landscapes, from scenic lakeshores and forests to rolling prairies and dramatic bluffs. Managed by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, these parks offer opportunities for outdoor recreation such as hiking, camping, biking, wildlife watching, and swimming, while also preserving important natural habitats and cultural history for current and future generations. This pass grants one day access to any of the 50 state parks or 44 state trails.

 

Capelli's Traxside Skating

Traxside Skating is a classic indoor roller skating rink and family entertainment destination. It’s known for its friendly, clean, and welcoming atmosphere where people of all ages can enjoy open skating, arcade games, and tasty treats from a full-service snack bar. The facility is family-owned and operated, offering a smooth skating surface, skate rentals, and fun music that adds energy to every session. This pass grants admission for one adult and one child. Skate rental not included.

 

Plaza Theater

The Plaza Theater in Burlington, Wisconsin is a historic, community-focused movie theater offering a classic cinema experience in a welcoming, small-town setting. Known for its affordable tickets, comfortable seating, and friendly atmosphere, the Plaza shows first-run films and special screenings for all ages. It’s a beloved local spot where residents can enjoy great movies while supporting an independent theater in the heart of downtown Burlington. This pass can be redeemed for two theater tickets.

 

Milwaukee Art Museum

Burlington Community Aquatic Center

The Burlington Aquatic Center in Burlington, Wisconsin is a family-friendly outdoor water facility offering fun for all ages during the summer season. It features a zero-depth entry pool, water slides, a lazy river, and interactive play features, along with lap lanes for swimming and exercise. Each pass grants one entry to the pool. Passes available only during the center’s open season.

The Museum Adventure Pass program provides free admission to unique cultural destinations throughout the Greater Chicago area to library card holders at over 140 public libraries, including the Burlington Public Library.
